Lead Kid (DEMO)
This is a demo containing the first level. The full game is in development and will (probably) release in 2025.
Controls:
- left/right (A/D/left/right) — move
- A/B/Select (period/Comma/X/Z/Space) — jump
- Start (Enter) — pause
You shouldn't exist. You're a box of solid lead with only feet, walleyes, and a battery pack added on; and your creator, Dr. Agon, made you as a punching bag for the robots he actually wanted to make. But now that you've gained free will, you want out. Can you hop your way to the top and defeat Dr. Agon and his mechanical menagerie?
Well, can you?
As Lead Kid, travel through six one level of fast, precise, single-screen platforming gameplay in this real Game Boy game. Dodge spikes, bounce off springs, and finagle your way through all sorts of obstacles. The catch? Your jump is pathetic, and since lead is soft, you die in one hit. However, you can always respawn at the beginning of the room to try again. If you play perfectly, there could even be a secret treasure waiting for you... but who knows?
